Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Engineer located in Jeddah. The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Daily tasks include supervising and coordinating onsite work, liaising with Civil Engineers and other stakeholders, performing quality control inspections, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

  • Strong designing skills.
  • Expertise in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering.
  • Experience with on-site supervision and management.
  • Strong Quality Control skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience of at least 10 yrs in a similar role in the construction industry.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, cost estimation, and scheduling.


• Proven experience in approving and supervising finishing and fit-out works, including but not limited to:


• Painting and coating works.


• Tiling and flooring works.


• Plastering and wall finishes.


• Ceiling works, carpentry, and joinery.


• Doors, windows, and aluminum/glass works.


• MEP-related finishing coordination (as applicable).


• Strong knowledge of construction materials, quality standards, and local building codes.


• Proficiency in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost analysis, and project timelines.


• Skilled in using project management and estimation software.


• Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with contractors and suppliers.


• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.


• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
