Key Responsibilities

  • Extract and validate quantities from BIM models for cost estimation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with BIM and QS teams to align models with cost breakdown structures (CBS).
  • Support the development of 5D BIM workflows integrating cost data into models.
  • Ensure model-based quantities comply with measurement standards (e.g., POMI, NRM, CESMM).
  • Conduct quality checks on models to ensure accurate quantity take-offs (QTOs).
  • Assist in value engineering, change management, and cost control using model data.
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure consistent and reliable data outputs.
  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings and contribute to cost-related discussions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 58 years of experience in quantity surveying, with exposure to BIM-based workflows.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and CostX (or equivalent 5D software).
  • Strong understanding of cost estimation, measurement standards, and project documentation.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary BIM environment.
