Job Description:

Parsons are looking for an amazingly talented Construction Engineer (ICT)(Saudi National) to join our team on King Salman International Airport (KSIA)

What You'll Be Doing:

Installation and Field Supervision:

• Support the installation and construction oversight of ICT systems including structured cabling, fiber optics, network cabinets, server rooms, and backbone infrastructure.
• Monitor daily construction activities to ensure alignment with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Perform field inspections to verify quality and compliance of ICT installations by contractors and vendors.

Technical Coordination and Support:

• Assist in reviewing shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for ICT scope.
• Coordinate with design engineers, MEP teams, and subcontractors to resolve technical queries and ensure proper system integration.
• Track work progress and support issue resolution during construction and testing phases.

Testing and Documentation:

• Participate in the preparation of test procedures and inspection checklists.
• Support pre-commissioning and testing of ICT systems including cable continuity, bandwidth testing, and hardware verification.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installed systems, site observations, and punch list items.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure that all ICT construction activities are performed in compliance with project HSE plans and safety procedures.
• Identify and report any non-conformances or deviations from design.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in ICT construction or field engineering.
• Exposure to structured cabling, telecom, or low current systems in infrastructure or building projects.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Familiarity with ICT codes, standards, and installation practices (TIA/EIA, BICSI, etc.).
• Ability to read and understand ICT schematics, layout drawings, and network diagrams.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Exposure to ICT systems in airport, data center, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
• Familiarity with integration of ICT systems with SCADA, BMS, and security systems.
• Understanding of testing procedures using tools such as OTDR, cable testers, etc.
• Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
