Legal Advisor

Our client is a one of the top real estate developers in the GCC. The company develops and manages large scale projects. They are currently looking for a Legal Advisor to be based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Participating in the negotiations, drafting and reviewing MOU's, LOI's, NDA's, contracts, agreements and other legal documents with banks and other parties in the course of the Company's business.

· Carrying out the procedures for establishing the new SPV's and affiliates by undertaking the drafting the legal memoranda, Articles of Association and shareholders agreements.

· Draft and review employment contracts, MOU's and other legal documents.

· Handling and following up different types of claims/Lawsuits, such as Commercial, Trademark violations, and Labor Disputes.

· Handling and following up Trademark registration/renewal for brands.

· Liaising with external service providers such as insurance and law firms.

· As a member of the legal department, participate in complex financing projects with the various banks inside and outside the KSA.

· Mange commercial litigation in parallel with the off - Counsel to minimize financial as well as non-financial damages.

Qualification & Requirements:

· Degree in Law or a similar qualification.

· Minimum of 7 - 8 years of experience.

· Thorough knowledge in the field especially in the law of contracts and company law with an uninterrupted practical experience is necessary.

· Good knowledge of contracting concepts.

· Must have very good knowledge of court proceedings and litigation process.

· Excellent interpretation skills and drafting knowledge is a must.

· Very good knowledge of local and regional laws would be prerequisite.

· Exposure to international laws would be an advantage.

· Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

· Excellent verbal and written communications in Arabic and English.
