Job Summary:

The Senior GRC Specialist is responsible for driving governance, risk management, and compliance activities across the organization. This role ensures regulatory alignment, manages enterprise risk frameworks, and supports internal policies, audits, and compliance assessments to protect the organization's operational, legal, and security posture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enforce organizational policies, procedures, and standards
  • Support the development and implementation of GRC frameworks and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, etc.)
  • Monitor corporate governance requirements and ensure adherence
  • Identify, assess, analyze, and document enterprise risks across business units
  • Maintain the risk register and update risk scoring, treatment plans, and remediation tracking
  • Conduct risk assessments, including third-party/vendor risk evaluations
  • Coordinate risk mitigation strategies with stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Support compliance assessments, security reviews, and regulatory reporting
  • Track regulatory changes and evaluate their business impact
  • Drive employee awareness programs on compliance obligations
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Prepare audit evidence, compliance documentation, and assessment reports
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor risk, compliance, and control effectiveness.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Business Administration, Information Systems, IT, Cybersecurity, Law, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in
    GRC, compliance, risk management, or information security
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and security compliance frameworks
  • Experience managing risk registers and audit documentation
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Ability to develop clear GRC reports, presentations, and process flows
  • High attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Auditor
  • CRISC, CISA, or CGRC
  • COBIT or ITIL
  • Any Risk or Compliance-focused certification
  • Integrity & confidentiality

  • Strong ownership and accountability
