We are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer & System Architect to join our team on-site in Riyadh.

This role is responsible for designing and building the full technical architecture of our SaaS platforms, backend services, integrations, and internal systems.

You will work directly with the Founder/CEO, turn ideas into technical structures, make architectural decisions, and build scalable, secure, and maintainable systems from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end backend architecture for SaaS platforms and workflow systems.
  • Develop backend services, APIs, and modules using , Python, Go, or similar.
  • Create system diagrams, technical documentation, database schemas, and workflows.
  • Build integrations with third-party APIs and internal automation tools.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, role management, and secure API structures.
  • Build backend logic for dashboards, analytics tools, admin panels, and automation flows.
  • Handle DevOps fundamentals: Docker, CI/CD, cloud deployment (AWS/GCP).
  • Optimize performance, scalability, database efficiency, and system reliability.
  • Collaborate with frontend, product, and design teams.
  • Work on-site in our Riyadh office with high-speed communication and rapid execution.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in backend development / Python / Go / Java).
  • Deep knowledge of system design, architecture patterns, and scalable platform structure.
  • Strong skills in SQL & NoSQL databases (schema design, optimization, indexing).
  • Experience with REST APIs, authentication (JWT, OAuth2), and API security.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
  • Experience building SaaS products, dashboards, or workflow systems.
  • Ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and deliver high-quality results.
  • Must be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices
  • Experience with automation tools (n8n, Airbyte, DBT, etc.)
  • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS
  • Experience with queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
  • Previous experience as Tech Lead / Team Lead
