Our client, a major international contractor specializing in
mission-critical infrastructure
, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their rapidly expanding data center delivery team in Riyadh. This role offers the opportunity to be part of one of the region's most ambitious digital infrastructure programs, supporting hyperscale and colocation developments across Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of all construction phases for large-scale data center projects.
  • Coordinate with design, MEP, and civil teams to ensure technical alignment and timely delivery.
  • Monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors, reviewing progress, drawings, and work packages.
  • Oversee installation and testing of mechanical and electrical systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, CRAC/CRAH units, and containment systems.
  • Assist with project documentation, commissioning schedules, and handover processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience in data center, high-tech, or mission-critical facility construction
    is essential.
  • Knowledge of MEP coordination, commissioning processes, and critical power/cooling systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and site coordination skills.
  • Previous GCC or KSA experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
