Analyst (2-4 years of experience)

Senior Analyst (4-6 years of experience)

About role:

Work in a small high-performance, high-impact team to develop corporate and BU strategy, ensure effective execution and

implementation, drive inorganic full potential through alliances / M&A / partnerships, operate key corporate CoEs (across strategic

procurement, market intelligence and insight, marketing excellence and other areas).

Collaborate and work directly with senior corporate management teams, BU leadership, and BU operational teams to deliver

solutions, recommendations, initiatives, project and programs to realize corporate objectives and make lasting impact, often times

directly implementing on ground.

Develop your career within the SMO team or transition into high-potential fast-track managerial roles within group, corporate

function, or BUs

Key responsibilities:

Generally,

- Structure problems and build

- Gather data, analyze information, generate insights, synthesize takeaway

- Develop and communicate concise recommendation

- Cascade, coordinate, and project manage recommendation implementation critical path

- Work collaboratively within internal and corporate BU teams to achieve objectives

- Develop strong and trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, vendor, and others

- Strengthen leadership style and influence over time to improve desired outcomes

Strategy

- Refresh annual strategy (group, BUs) and PMO progress and results

- Develop 3-5 years strategy and cascade into (ambition, where to play, how to win, enablers, mgmt. system)

- Keep track of market dynamics, competitive landscape, key trends, regulator updates

- Develop ad-hoc "high value" strategy-oriented point of views and perspectives

- Support development of board updates

Performance Management (and transformation)

- Design, activate and lead strategic PMO / RDO

- Cascade strategy, critical high value project into KPIs, and projects (MBOs)

- Measure performance, take corrective actions, and develop reporting

- Work with internal stakeholders to improve strategy execution, increase pace, and results realization

Corporate development

- Evaluate potential business opportunities (research, financial modeling, analysis, due diligence, perspective)

- Support management evaluate and execute strategic transactions (M&A, alliances, JVs, Partnerships)

- Support post-acquisition merger integration, value creation, and results realization of all inorganic activities

- Work with finance, and external advisors to develop

Professional experience / qualification:

- 2+ year of experience in top tier strategy consulting firm (or top tier investment banks/Big 4 for corp. dev. track)

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or science (math, physics, …) required

- Advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, PhD, etc.) or equivalent a plus

- Experience in in-house strategy, corporate development, performance management a plus

- Strong team, communication, Excel / PowerPoint, and problem-solving skills
