We are seeking two highly meticulous and proactive Controls and Governance Leads to join a leading financial services team in Riyadh. These pivotal roles act as the first line of control, ensuring operational discipline, accuracy, and compliance
across all card products
and related activities.

You will be the guardian of process integrity, responsible for safeguarding procedures, validating partner deliverables, and maintaining the highest standards in both customer-facing information and internal documentation. This is a high-visibility role where your persistence and attention to detail will directly impact the business's governance framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance & Oversight:
    Act as the internal point of accountability for governance within the cards team, ensuring strict adherence to agreed standards and procedures.
  • Compliance Monitoring:
    Review partner and vendor reports, validating compliance with regulatory, contractual, and operational requirements.
  • Contract & Documentation Management:
    Monitor contractual timelines and maintain meticulous oversight of all agreements, business cases, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Oversee telesales scripts and customer-facing channels (websites, applications) to guarantee all communications are accurate, consistent, and aligned with product documentation.
  • Stakeholder Influence:
    Collaborate with product managers, operations teams, and external vendors to align practices with requirements. Persuasively influence stakeholders to drive corrective actions and close identified gaps.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for a professional who is inherently organized and thrives on keeping things in order and under control. You are a natural influencer, able to enforce standards without compromising strong working relationships.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Arabic language proficiency is mandatory.
  • Proven experience (12+ years) in governance, compliance, and documentation management within financial services, preferably with card or payment products.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach to work.
  • Demonstrated ability to review, interpret, and manage contracts, agreements, and SOPs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a persuasive and persistent personality.
  • Prior experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) is highly preferred.
  • Must be comfortable supporting senior leadership directly.
