Our client in the Agricultural industry is looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Accountant to join their team, contributing to strategic financial insights.

Minimum requirements:
  • Matric
  • Accounting or Finance Degree
  • 3 - 5 years' experience as an Accountant in the manufacturing or FMCG industry
  • Proficient in accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of South African tax laws and compliance requirements
Key Responsibilities: 
  • Manage full accounting functions
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and reports
  • Assist with monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
  • Oversee cash flow, budgeting and forecasting
  • Handle and ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, UIF and any other statutory returns in line with SARS requirements
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants and external stakeholders
  • Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and decision-making
  • Identifying and mitigating financial risks, such as market, credit and operational risks
