Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Finance Intern/Coop to join our dynamic finance team. This internship offers hands-on experience across multiple areas of finance, including credit analysis, credit operations, investor relations, and marketing. The ideal candidate will gain comprehensive exposure to financial operations while contributing meaningfully to various departmental initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesCredit Analysis

  • Assist in evaluating creditworthiness of potential borrowers or clients
  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data
  • Support the preparation of credit risk assessment reports
  • Help maintain credit monitoring systems and databases
  • Participate in industry and company-specific research

Credit Operations

  • Support daily credit operations and transaction processing
  • Assist with documentation review and compliance checks
  • Help maintain accurate records in credit management systems
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve operational issues

Investor Relations

  • Assist in preparing investor presentations and quarterly reports
  • Help compile financial data and performance metrics
  • Support the coordination of investor meetings and calls
  • Maintain investor database and contact lists
  • Contribute to drafting investor communications materials

Marketing

  • Support the development of financial product marketing materials
  • Assist in market research and competitive analysis
  • Help create content for presentations, brochures, and digital platforms
  • Contribute to social media and digital marketing initiatives
  • Support event coordination for client or investor engagements

QualificationsRequired

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred

  • Coursework or knowledge in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and data analysis tools
  • Previous internship experience in finance or related fields
  • Understanding of credit principles and financial markets
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar financial databases
