Job Description

Responsible for developing and implementing a company's strategy to meet Saudi Arabia's Saudization requirements, which involves ensuring the company hires and develops Saudi nationals. This role includes creating Saudization plans, coordinating with government authorities and internal departments, and ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations. Key duties involve workforce planning, recruitment, training, and reporting to meet the nationalization quotas set by the government.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic planning:

Develop and submit annual Saudization plans in coordination with relevant authorities to meet nationalization quotas and strategic objectives.
- Recruitment and hiring:

Coordinate with hiring managers to recruit, onboard, and retain Saudi nationals, ensuring their qualifications and career paths align with the company's long-term needs.
- Compliance and reporting:

Ensure the company's workforce practices adhere to Saudi labor laws and the Nitaqat program. This includes managing all necessary documentation and preparing reports for submission.
- Training and development:

Support the development and training of Saudi employees to build local talent and facilitate their career progression.
- Liaison and coordination:

Act as the main point of contact for government authorities and internal departments to ensure all Saudization requirements are understood and met.
- Auditing:

Support internal and external audits related to Saudization, ensuring all company documentation and practices are compliant and up to best practice standards.
- Analysis:

Analyze company contracts and business operations to identify opportunities for increasing the employment of Saudi nationals.

Skills
  • Experience:

At least five years of experience in HR, particularly with a focus on Saudization and labor law compliance.
- Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of Saudi labor laws, regulations, and the Nitaqat program.
- Skills:

Excellent communication (preferably bilingual), interpersonal skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively across different departments and with government entities.
- Education:

A bachelor's degree is typically required.
