Maximus is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead complex analytical initiatives that drive contract performance, compliance, and operational excellence. This role partners closely with Contract Managers, Senior Stakeholders, and operational leaders to shape data strategy and deliver insights that influence both tactical and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of advanced analytical models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks for operational contracts.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable data solutions with measurable impact.
  • Proactively identify performance risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities across contracts.
  • Support forecasting, benchmarking, and predictive modeling to drive contract performance.
  • Maintain strong data governance, quality, and consistency across all reporting processes.
  • Present complex findings to senior leadership and external stakeholders in a clear, influential manner.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for analytics, promoting innovation and continuous learning.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, ethical standards, security, and privacy requirements.
  • Uphold Maximus values and foster an inclusive, diverse, and safe work environment.

Requirements

Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods, analytical frameworks, and operational contract performance models.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and multi-system integration.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong programming ability in Python or R for advanced analytics.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, contract-driven environment.
  • High-level problem-solving, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Experience

  • 4+ years in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Applied Data Science.
  • Proven track record leading analytical projects from requirement gathering to insight delivery.
  • Experience in operational delivery contracts, performance monitoring, and SLAs is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success building advanced dashboards, predictive models, and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior stakeholders and supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Exposure to data governance, compliance, and quality assurance practices.
