Job Title: Internal Medicine Consultant

An Excellent opportunity to join as an Internal Medicine Consultant for one of the most prestigious and top-tier leading hospitals in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

JOB SUMMARY

As an Internal Medicine Consultant Physician working in a prestigious hospital in Saudi Arabia, your primary responsibility will be to provide specialized medical care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage various diseases and disorders.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides high-quality Internal Medicine care to patients in this area of medicine.
  • Provide consultative service as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and Participates in research activities.
  • Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  • Performs special procedures as privileged.
  • Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  • Completion of required period of training in internal medicine.
  • American Board / FRCS -Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian
    Diplôme d'Études Spécialisées (DES) / CIS French Board/ Facharzt & Sub-Board/Fellowship with Experience as per Job Description
    post Board/Fellowship, CCT, CCST UK Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (UK)
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
  • Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

  • Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in internal medicine.
  • A registered member of the Saudi Board Council

Language

  • Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.

References

  • Positive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.
