Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented
Mechanical Design Engineer
to join our team of design consulting Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and documentation of mechanical systems for buildings including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. You will collaborate closely with architects, electrical engineers, and contractors to deliver integrated, sustainable, and high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop complete Mechanical design packages: water supply system, drainage system, rainwater system, air conditioning system and smoke control system.
  • Coordinate mechanical services design with other disciplines (electrical, architectural, structural) to ensure seamless integration.
  • Model and document systems in Autodesk Revit (BIM) and produce coordinated shop/IFC drawings.
  • Perform calculation such as: water demand, pipe size, duct size, cooling load and heat load, related softwares.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes/standards (e.g., IEC/NEC, SBC, NFPA, utility/SEC requirements).
  • Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and site teams; resolve clashes and RFI responses.
  • Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, datasheets, and material submittals; support tendering and value engineering.
  • Conduct design reviews, QA/QC checks, and support site with technical clarifications.

Other requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience requirements: more than 8 years.
  • Proficient in all stages Mechanical design for residential buildings, factory buildings, hospital building, education building, office building and high raiser building.
  • Proficient in design of water supply systems, drainage systems, firefighting systems, air conditioning system, smoke control system etc.
  • Project experience with Aramco, RC, NEOM, MODON, etc.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk CAD for Mechanical/BIM modeling and documentation.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken in English and Arabic.
  • Solid command of AutoCAD, HAP, Bently Water/Sewer GEM, Fire Elite and MS Office (Excel for schedules/calcs).
  • Working knowledge of IPC, NFPA, SBC, ASHRAE and local utility standards (e.g., NWC) and permitting processes.
  • Proven experience producing coordinated IFC/tender drawings and complete calculation packs.
  • Transferable Iqama.
