Job Description – Alteryx Software Engineer / Data Scientist

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled
Data Scientist / Alteryx Software Engineer
with strong expertise in
Alteryx
and
Tableau
to drive advanced analytics, data transformation, and visualization initiatives. The ideal candidate will support
regulatory reporting, fraud analytics, and business intelligence
functions by delivering accurate, scalable, and insightful data solutions.

Core Responsibilties :

  • Design, develop, and implement data workflows using
    Alteryx Designer
    for ETL, data cleansing, and transformation.
  • Build interactive and insightful
    Tableau dashboards and visualizations
    using Tableau Desktop and Server.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities and deliver actionable insights.
  • Support
    regulatory reporting
    and
    fraud analytics
    requirements with accurate and timely data outputs.
  • Perform
    exploratory data analysis (EDA)
    , statistical modeling, and predictive analytics.
  • Ensure
    data accuracy, integrity, and governance
    across analytics platforms.
  • Document analytics processes, workflows, and maintain proper
    version control
    .

Required Skills & Tools :

Analytics Tools

  • Strong proficiency in Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Server, and Tableau Desktop/Server.

Programming

  • Strong command of SQL.
  • Working knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics is an advantage.

Data Management

  • Hands-on experience in data wrangling, cleansing, and integration from multiple data sources.

Data Visualization

  • Ability to design intuitive, dynamic, and user-friendly dashboards and reports in Tableau.

Statistical Analysis

  • Familiarity with statistical techniques such as regression, clustering, forecasting, and anomaly detection.

Cloud & Data Platforms (Preferred)

  • Exposure to Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, or AWS environments.

Certification (Preferred) :

  • Alteryx Core or Advanced Certification
  • Tableau Desktop Specialist or Certified Associate

Qualifications :

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data quality and governance.
