Role Description – Senior Flutter Developer (POS Front-End)

3D Systems Co. is seeking an experienced Senior Flutter Developer for a full-time, on-site position in Riyadh. The selected candidate will lead the development of POS front-end applications for Android and iOS, focusing on performance, reliability, and seamless integration with business workflows.

This role requires hands-on experience with POS systems, especially in the F&B and Retail sectors, and strong expertise in building front-end interfaces that integrate with backend services, handle offline-first behavior, and support hardware peripherals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-performance POS front-end applications using Flutter for Android & iOS.

  • Design fast and intuitive user interfaces for restaurant & retail operations (ordering, billing, kitchen flow, payments, menu navigation, scanning, etc.).

  • Implement integration with ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing requirements (QR codes, XML generation, encryption standards, invoice flows).

  • Ensure stability, offline mode capability, and real-time data synchronization with backend systems.

  • Integrate POS with peripherals: printers, scanners, cash drawers, customer displays, NFC readers, and payment terminals.

  • Optimize application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness during peak business hours.

  • Collaborate with backend, QA, product, and design teams to deliver end-to-end features.

  • Conduct code reviews, debug critical issues, and maintain high-quality code architecture.

  • Maintain POS system reliability with continuous testing, deployment, and performance tuning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mobile development.

  • Strong expertise in Flutter and cross-platform development for Android & iOS.

  • Must have hands-on experience in POS systems for Food & Beverage and/or Retail.

  • Practical experience implementing ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoice compliance within POS systems (XML structures, UUIDs, QR codes, cryptographic signatures).

  • Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, OOP, clean architecture, and state management (Bloc, Riverpod, Provider, etc.).

  • Experience integrating with REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data layers.

  • Familiarity with POS hardware peripherals is a strong advantage.

  • Ability to work with Agile teams and project management tools.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

    • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle mission-critical production environments.
