Role Description

The Mechanical Quality Inspector contributes to ensuring that all mechanical works are executed in accordance with project specifications and approved standards, including piping systems, pumps, tanks, and mechanical operating systems. The inspector also conducts site inspections, reviews test reports, and coordinates with the consultant and contractor to ensure that all works comply with quality requirements.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:


• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in
Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:


• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in
sewage treatment plants (STP)  projects

.

Required Skills and Knowledge:


• Possesses a recognized quality certification such as ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or QC Mechanical Inspector Certification.


• Good knowledge of mechanical systems including piping, pumps, tanks, and valves.


• Familiarity with relevant international standards (ASME, ASTM, API, ISO).


• Experience in preparing and reviewing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and test reports.


• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and P&IDs.


• Coordination skills with consultants, contractors, and laboratories.
