About the Role

The Technical Management Team Lead is responsible for overseeing all units within the Technical Management division, ensuring seamless operations of core IT infrastructure services while aligning with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Strategy:
  • Lead and manage all units under Technical Management, ensuring alignment with organizational IT strategy and goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies for high availability, scalability, and performance of infrastructure and IT services.
  • Infrastructure & Server Management:
  • Oversee server hardware, virtualization platforms, and operating systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Guide planning and implementation of upgrades, patching, and system migrations.
  • Endpoint Management & Patching:
  • Ensure comprehensive patch management for endpoint devices and OS environments.
  • Drive standardization and automation in endpoint provisioning and updates.
  • Database Services:
  • Manage and maintain performance, security, and availability of enterprise databases.
  • Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure data reliability and access.
  • Directory & Messaging Services:
  • Supervise enterprise directory services (e.g., Active Directory) and messaging platforms (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, M365).
  • Enforce policies on access control, authentication, and messaging hygiene.
  • IT Asset & Inventory Management:
  • Ensure accurate inventory tracking and lifecycle management of IT hardware and software assets.
  • Oversee compliance with software licensing and procurement policies.
  • L2 Site Systems & Network Support:
  • Lead L2 technical support for on-site infrastructure, coordinating with central teams to resolve escalated issues.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Partner with other departments, including Security, Applications, and Network Services to ensure integration and efficiency.
  • Serve as the escalation point for critical infrastructure incidents.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • Maintain documentation of infrastructure configurations, standard operating procedures, and incident reports.
  • Ensure adherence to IT governance frameworks and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, NCA, ITIL).

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 15+ years in IT infrastructure and operations, including 3+ years in a management or leadership role.

Required Skills

  • Technical Skills: Strong background in server, storage, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V). Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies (AD, Exchange, SCCM/Intune). Experience with database platforms (MS SQL, Oracle) and endpoint management tools.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve complex access-related issues.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications (Preferred): ITIL Foundation or higher, Microsoft Certified (e.g., MCSA/MCSE), VMware, Cisco, or related certifications.
