Job Description

Job Overview :

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for aligning technology strategy with business goals, ensuring that IT investments deliver value and enable sustainable growth. This role oversees the design and governance of enterprise-wide architecture, spanning business, data, applications, infrastructure, and security domains. The Enterprise Architect works closely with senior stakeholders, business leaders, and technology teams to drive digital transformation, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Alignment :

  • Translate business strategy into a long-term IT architecture roadmap.

  • Ensure alignment with organizational objectives, regulatory frameworks (e.g., SAMA, PDPL, ISO, etc.), and industry best practices.

  • Lead enterprise architecture governance and ensure adherence to architecture principles.

Architecture Development :

  • Design, maintain, and evolve enterprise architecture models (business, data, applications, technology, and security).

  • Define standards, patterns, and frameworks to guide technology adoption.

  • Drive cloud, on-prem, and hybrid architecture strategies (e.g., OCI, GCP).

Technology Leadership :

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.

  • Collaborate with IT and business leaders to prioritize digital transformation initiatives.

  • Provide oversight for solution and domain specialists, ensuring consistent architecture practices.

Governance and Compliance :

  • Enforce architecture governance across projects and initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk management, and external regulatory requirements.

  • Support IT audits, security assessments, and compliance reporting.

Collaboration & Communication :

  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive management on technology strategy.

  • Partner with Business, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Cybersecurity teams to align solutions with organizational needs.

  • Facilitate workshops and design sessions with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills :

Education :

  • Bachelor or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience :

  • 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in architecture/Sr. Development roles.

  • Proven experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, and technology strategy.

Certifications (Preferred) :

  • TOGAF, Zachman, ArchiMate, ITIL, or relevant cloud certifications (OCI, GCP).

Technical Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, cloud platforms, databases, and integration patterns.

  • Hands on Experience in software development.

  • Strong experience in cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance.

  • Familiarity with DevOps, microservices, APIs, and modern application architectures.

Soft Skills :

  • Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
