In your role as Director, you will lead partnerships with various business units, providing financial insights and strategic guidance to enhance performance and support decision-making. Your analytical prowess and collaborative spirit will be key as you foster relationships across the organization, driving financial acumen at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage strong relationships with business units in the Arts Division, serving as a trusted advisor on financial matters
- Provide financial insights and analyses to support strategic planning and operational execution of arts initiatives
- Lead the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans
- Conduct performance analysis, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement
- Collaborate with operations, marketing, and other departments to align financial strategies with business objectives
- Champion best practices in financial management across the arts projects
- Prepare and present financial reports and findings to senior leadership and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in finance, with a significant focus on business partnerships or operational finance
- Strong expertise in financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance management
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
