Job Overview The PMO Engineer is responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and reporting the performance of ABSAR running mega projects. The role focuses on tracking project progress, identifying production and execution risks, monitoring client satisfaction, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting to management. The PMO Engineer acts as a centralized control and reporting function, supporting project teams by providing clear visibility of project health, deviations, and improvement actions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Monitor the overall progress of assigned mega projects against approved schedules, budgets, and execution plans.

Track key project milestones, deliverables, and critical path activities.

Identify delays, bottlenecks, production constraints, and execution risks at an early stage.

Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, QC, HSE, and Planning teams to obtain accurate project data.

Prepare and submit Monthly Progress Reports (MPR) for management and stakeholders, including:

 Physical progress vs. planned progress

 Productivity and production rates

 Key achievements during the reporting period

 Delays, risks, and mitigation actions

 Variations, scope changes, and impact analysis

Analyze project performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, manpower utilization, material availability, and equipment performance.

 Highlight production issues, inefficiencies, and recurring site problems affecting delivery.  Support root cause analysis for underperformance & corrective & preventive actions.

 Monitor client feedback, instructions, complaints, & correspondence related to performance.

 Include Client Satisfaction Level assessment in monthly reports.

 Escalate critical client-related risks to PMO and senior management.

 Act as a liaison between PMO, Project Teams, QHSE, Planning, and Commercial.

 Participate in progress meetings, coordination meetings, and management review sessions.

 Support management with accurate data for decision-making.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree or equivalent (engineering-related).

 7+ years of industry experience (PMO, QC and planning).

 Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.

 Excellent communication and coordination skills.

 Ability to work across multiple projects and manage competing priorities.

 Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills.

 Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs; ability to drive change.
