CBS is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager to lead our commitment to maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. Responsibilities- Develop and implement HSE policies, programs, and procedures to promote a culture of safety.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Prepare and deliver HSE training sessions for employees and leadership teams.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigation processes, ensuring root causes are identified, analyzed, and addressed.
- Stay abreast of new regulations, industry trends, and best practices in HSE management.
- Collaborate with project teams and external stakeholders to ensure HSE requirements are integrated into all operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management, preferably within the construction or engineering sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct effective risk assessments.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to drive safety initiatives.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to report and present HSE information.
- Certification in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO is preferred.
