Network Security Engineer

Engineer core Responsibilities include:

Daily operational support for switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless systems

Troubleshooting and resolution of complex Layer 2 and Layer 3 issues

Implementation of network configurations and policy enforcement

Coordination with vendors and internal teams for upgrades and projects

Maintain detailed network diagrams, inventory, and SOP documentation

Monitor network performance and suggest capacity improvements

Provide technical leadership and knowledge transfer to internal teams

Support change management, security compliance, and audit requirements

Manage organizational Cloud Network

Review and implement robust security frameworks for systems and networks.

Monitor threats and respond to incidents, minimizing impact and ensuring recovery.

Engineer Capabilities include:

Design & Optimization Capability

Network architecture review and optimization

Capacity planning and performance tuning

Security & Compliance Capability

Firewall rule management, access control, and security posture review

Support compliance with NCA, or corporate security frameworks

Project Execution Capability

Hands-on implementation of network expansions, migrations, and new rollouts.

Coordination with project teams and alignment with milestones

Knowledge Transfer & Documentation

Provide training sessions and handover materials

Maintain accurate configurations and change logs.

Engineers Qualifications:

Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience in network engineering roles

Industry certifications such as:

Mandatory: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent

Preferred: Fortinet NSE 4/5, OCI Foundation

Hands-on experience with:

Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, and network devices

Dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)

Network monitoring and analysis tools

VPN, SD-WAN, wireless controllers, and NAC solutions

Oracle OCI Network and security control

Strong documentation and communication skills

Ability to work independently and in coordination with IT teams and vendors.
