GENERAL ROLE
:

As Electrician – Handyman at Miraval The Red Sea, your main role is the front line of the Engineering department. It provides an important function to our guest and fellow employees. An Electrician will ensure that all the electrical system in the hotel is functioning properly. He will ensure that the guest staying in the hotel is comfortable and pleasant. If anything wrong would happen, he will response with speed and ensure that it is rectified with minimum disturbance. The Electrician must process a service-oriented mindset with competent technician skill and knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
:

Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Miraval The Red Sea colleagues continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As Electrician – Handyman you will need to:

  • Inspect and repair electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, panels, switches, and outlets.
  • Monitor and work on the BMS & GRMS platform
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical malfunctions safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest concerns.
  • Maintain tools and electrical inventory.
  • Assist in general engineering duties as required.
  • Coordinate with contractors or vendors when needed.
  • Ensure all work areas are clean and organized.
  • Other duties as assigned by Engineering leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience as an electrician is required.
  • Electrical certification or license preferred.
  • Basic English language skills are required.
  • Arabic speaking would be an advantage.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (IF ANY)

  • Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Able to lift and carry tools and equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
