Aircraft Condition & Functionality:
Ensure the aircraft and its components are maintained in optimal condition and fully functional at all times.
Maintenance & Installation Tasks:
Perform a wide range of maintenance activities including assembly and installation of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems.
Structural Integrity Checks:
Inspect fuselage, wings, and tail sections for corrosion, distortion, and hidden cracks using advanced tools such as X-ray and magnetic inspection equipment.
Line Service Operations:
Conduct routine servicing tasks including cleaning, refueling, and oil changes for line service aircraft.
Regulatory Inspections:
Carry out scheduled and unscheduled inspections in accordance with aviation regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
Component Diagnostics:
Examine aircraft systems such as landing gear, hydraulics, and deicing units to identify cracks, leaks, or other faults.
Surface Preparation:
Prepare and treat aircraft surfaces as required for maintenance or painting.
Fuel System Maintenance:
Remove, inspect, repair, and reinstall in-flight refueling systems and external fuel tanks.
Structural Repairs:
Trim, shape, and install replacement body sections using adhesives, hand tools, and power tools to ensure precise fit and secure placement.
In-Flight Support:
Accompany aircraft on flights when necessary to perform in-flight adjustments and corrective actions.
Bonded Structure Curing:
Cure bonded components using portable or stationary curing equipment to ensure structural integrity.
Airframe Inspection:
Inspect the airframe for signs of wear, fatigue, or other defects that may affect performance or safety.
Component Alignment & Installation:
Align and install repaired or replacement parts using clamps, wrenches, and prepare for riveting or welding.
Maintenance Documentation:
Maintain accurate logs of all preventive and corrective maintenance activities performed.
Precision Measurements:
Measure wear on parts using precision instruments and assess control cable tension to ensure operational standards.
Fuel & Oil Sampling:
Collect and analyze fuel and oil samples to detect contamination or irregularities.
Technical Interpretation:
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical specifications to determine repair feasibility and procedures.
Problem Diagnosis:
Analyze pilot-reported issues to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Defect Access & Repair:
Remove or cut out defective components and drill access points to reach internal damage using appropriate tools.
Component Replacement:
Replace or repair worn, damaged, or malfunctioning parts using specialized tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
Compliance & Quality Standards:
Adhere to all applicable procedures, safety regulations, and quality service standards throughout maintenance operations.
