Job Summary: A Rigger II is responsible for planning, coordinating, and performing lifting operations involving heavy equipment, machinery, and structural components. This role requires advanced rigging skills to ensure safe and efficient material handling on construction, industrial, or maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities: - Plan and execute lifting operations according to rigging plans, load charts, and project requirements. - Select, inspect, and prepare rigging equipment including slings, shackles, hooks, and chains. - Supervise and assist Rigger III or junior personnel during lifts. - Attach and secure loads safely for cranes, hoists, or other lifting devices. - Communicate with crane operators and team members to ensure precise and safe positioning of loads. - Identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures to maintain safety standards. - Maintain rigging tools and equipment in good working condition. - Document lifting activities, equipment usage, and any incidents.
Qualifications / Skills: - Proven experience as a Rigger II or in a similar rigging role. - Advanced knowledge of rigging techniques, load handling, and safety regulations. - Ability to read and interpret lifting diagrams, load charts, and technical drawings. - Physical strength, stamina, and coordination for handling heavy loads. - Leadership and teamwork skills to supervise junior rigging personnel. - Certification in rigging, lifting operations, or related field is preferred.
Working Conditions: - Work is primarily outdoors or on construction/industrial sites. - Exposure to heights, heavy machinery, noise, dust, and adverse weather. - Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for long periods. - May require overtime, shift work, or work in challenging environments.
Other Requirements: -Must pass Aramco Rigger Tests with Third Party Certification as Rigger II. - If(Engineer/Technician) in professionmustregister with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
