About the Role: 

We are seeking a Geologist – Project to assist with geological activities within the Exploration & Resource Development team. This role supports identifying areas of interest for further exploration and resource development, contributing to Strategy 2040. You will lead safe and effective execution of exploration programs, supervise field teams, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards while fostering collaboration across Ma'aden's Geoscience community.
 

Key Responsibilities:

 Promote a Safety First culture and implement EHSS standards. Support development of exploration programs and budgets, conduct geological fieldwork including mapping, logging, sampling, and drilling. Oversee logistics, administration, and technical execution of projects, monitor budgets, and ensure timely completion of documentation. Supervise and train geologists, technicians, and contractors in drill program management and data processes. Prepare technical reports, maps, and presentations, and report exploration metrics to stakeholders. Update procedural documentation and collaborate with the broader Geoscience community to share best practices.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in Geology (MSc preferred). Hands-on experience in geological mapping, core logging, and geochemical/geophysical techniques. Strong understanding of Porphyry Cu-Au, VHMS, and Magmatic Ni-Cu systems. Ability to lead small teams and manage technical projects.

Experience: 

3+ years in mining and minerals industry, preferably in exploration. Familiarity with KSA mining sector (preferred).

Skills & Competencies: QA/QC experience, strong technical geoscience skills, GIS (ArcPro) and 3D modeling (Leapfrog), analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills, safety leadership, and proficiency in technical reporting.
