Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced FileCloud Specialist to manage, administer, and support the organization's file management and sharing platform. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation, configuration, security, and optimization of FileCloud across the institution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, configure, and maintain the FileCloud platform for secure file storage and sharing.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security controls to ensure continuous and reliable service.
  • Manage user access, permissions, roles, and security policies within FileCloud.
  • Implement backup, recovery, and data retention strategies.
  • Troubleshoot FileCloud-related issues and provide timely support to end-users.
  • Coordinate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Handle updates, patches, and system enhancements to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Prepare documentation, technical reports, and operational procedures.
  • Train users on FileCloud features, best practices, and data security guidelines.
  • Ensure high availability and business continuity for file management services.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience
    in file management systems or content management solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with
    FileCloud
    (preferred) or similar platforms (e.g., Nextcloud, SharePoint, OwnCloud).
  • Strong knowledge of server administration (Windows/Linux).
  • Experience with networking fundamentals, security protocols, and access control.
  • Understanding of backup tools, storage technologies, and data protection frameworks.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle technical issues independently.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work onsite with client teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in enterprise-level file sharing and DLP policies.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and virtualization.
  • Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
