Job Description:
Due to a vacancy opening, we are looking to add a professional Area Sales Manager for the Eastern & some Central County areas to maintain and develop further an established customer-base, selling our large portfolio of products of over 40 brands / 6,000 SKU's. The role will include visiting shops on a regular basis. We are looking for a results-driven, enthusiastic and ambitious person to build and maintain relationships with cycle shops. Experience in this field is essential. The job includes a company car, a mobile phone, a tablet, a standard basic wage plus commission based on performance. We offer vast experience in the trade, and can offer the best support for the candidate to fulfil the role required.
Duties / Requirements / Job Include:
- Maintain, service and further develop a cycle-shop customer base in the Eastern Counties
- Opening of new accounts & development
- Keeping up to date on industry trends
- Company car, mobile phone, iPad, possible future occasional overseas travel opportunities
- Providing regular feedback to management on customers/market trends
- Attending sales meetings, management meetings, exhibitions from time to time
- Spending some overnight stays away from home
- Full UK driving licence
- Working independently and also part of a small, strong team
- Knowledge of working with Microsoft Office
- Company pension included
- Work towards meeting monthly targets and new account targets
- Maintain & develop journey plans and provide regular updates
