About the Role

TestCrew is looking for a skilled
Cloud Data Engineer
to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, building, and managing
cloud-based data pipelines and warehouses
across
GCP, AWS, or Azure
. You'll play a key role in ensuring data reliability, performance, and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain
    data pipelines
    and
    data warehouse solutions
    on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
  • Build and optimize
    ETL/ELT workflows
    for structured and unstructured data.
  • Implement and manage
    data warehouse solutions
    (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, Synapse).
  • Integrate multiple data sources using
    modern data integration tools
    .
  • Monitor and enhance
    data quality, governance, and performance
    .
  • Automate processes and deployments using
    Terraform, CloudFormation
    , or similar IaC tools.
  • Work closely with
    Data, Analytics, and DevOps
    teams for smooth delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–10 years of experience in
    Data Engineering or Cloud Data roles
    .
  • Strong experience with
    one or more cloud platforms
    :
  • GCP:
    BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub
  • AWS:
    Redshift, Glue, S3, Athena, EMR
  • Azure:
    Synapse, Data Factory, Blob Storage
    (added advantage)
  • Excellent command of
    Python
    (advanced) and
    SQL
    (expert level).
  • Experience with
    data modeling
    (Star/Snowflake schema, partitioning, clustering).
  • Hands-on with
    ETL/ELT frameworks
    like Airflow, DBT, or Glue.
  • Exposure to
    Big Data tools
    (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop).
  • Familiar with
    DevOps tools
    – Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Terraform.
  • Understanding of
    data security, IAM, and compliance
    (PDPL/GDPR).
