Role Description

The Cardiac Anesthesia Consultant will provide specialized cardiac anesthesia services, working closely with a team of physicians across various disciplines. Responsibilities include administering anesthesia during cardiac procedures, monitoring patient responses, ensuring patient safety, and managing emergency situations related to anesthesia. The consultant will also participate in the training and mentoring of junior medical staff and contribute to quality assurance programs. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency and expertise in Medicine, Cardiology, and Emergency Medicine
  • Experience in collaborating and working effectively with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated ability to provide training and mentorship to medical staff
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology with a specialization in Cardiac Anesthesia
  • Exceptional communication and decision-making skills
  • Valid medical license to practice in Saudi Arabia or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Prior experience in a hospital setting with a focus on cardiac cases is advantageous
