Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Senior Manager of Retail Development to play a key role in shaping our retail landscape within the innovative Qiddiya project. This position will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to drive the development and execution of retail concepts that are not only unique but also enhance the overall customer experience at Qiddiya.

The Senior Manager will oversee the advancement of retail projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring that each project aligns with Qiddiya's vision and enhances its reputation as a world-class entertainment and cultural destination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic retail development plans that align with Qiddiya's overall objectives.
  • Lead the project management efforts for retail developments, coordinating with architects, designers, contractors, and various internal teams to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
  • Cultivate relationships with potential retail partners, negotiate agreements, and develop a diverse retail tenant mix that enhances the visitor experience.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and market analysis to inform retail development strategies and optimize product offerings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to devise tactics that promote retail developments and maximize visitor engagement.
  • Monitor project performance, financial metrics, and market trends to proactively identify opportunities and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control measures throughout the development process.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting professional growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Real Estate Development, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 9-12 years of experience in retail development, project management, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse retail projects, demonstrating a keen understanding of retail space dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • Strong project management skills, including proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities to navigate project challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects at once.
  • Experience within the entertainment or leisure sector is advantageous.
