Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Finance Manager
for one of our clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial performance, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and contributing to strategic planning and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining full sets of accounts, audit and taxes, inter-company recoveries and bank conciliation
  • Preparation of inter-company billing, bank reconciliation and month end schedules & filing of GST returns
  • A good track record in Accounts Receivable and/or debt recovery
  • Providing excellent customer service to staff and parents and ensuring transparency and clarity of information
  • Responding to queries and complaints in a timely manner to avoid the need for follow up
  • Preparation and issuing of invoices and supporting with collections
  • Coordinating payment plan documentation requirements; ensuring that requirements are fulfilled
  • Maintaining general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable and payable
  • Execute payments to suppliers after relevant approval by management
  • Follow up with suppliers on outstanding or overdue payments
  • Manage petty cash and accurate recording of receipts
  • Responsible for month and year end closing, and monthly VAT submissions
  • Maintain accurate filing and records for auditing purposes

Requirements:

Education

Degree in Finance or Accounting, ACCA or its equivalent from accredited institutions

Experience

Minimum 5 years of working experience with good working knowledge of MYOB and Microsoft Excel
