Responsible for covering KSA and other countries in the MENA region, including the UAE as needed.
Must be willing to learn from a Privacy Law perspective, based on legal requirements.
Provide and perform legal services and compliance oversight in accordance with local regulations and in line with Aon's standards, policies, global risk, and ethics standards.
Work closely with other members of the Law and Compliance Team within Saudi Arabia and the Middle East Region at Aon.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide legal support and advice to management and business teams on relevant legal issues.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and amend legal documentation, including agreements with clients, insurers, and third parties.
- Supervise, instruct, and manage external attorneys for litigation, associated costs, and obtaining expert legal advice or services.
- Coordinate with Senior Management, the Chief Counsel, and Compliance to communicate effectively with the Insurance Authority and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
- Stay current on applicable local laws, regulations, and best practices affecting Aon's legal standing in Saudi Arabia.
- Undertake additional projects and assignments as directed by the corporate and the Chief Legal and Compliance Counsel.
- Contribute to establishing a sound legal risk management culture within Aon.
- Escalate issues as necessary to Senior Management and the Chief Legal and Compliance Counsel, providing timely and accurate information to reduce legal and regulatory risks.
Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience required.
Education:
- Legal Qualification (LLB or similar).
