Role Overview

The Lead Device & Endpoint Security Architect is responsible for shaping the strategic direction and technical design of security controls for endpoints, connected devices, and Internet of Things (IoT) environments within the Devices and Telecommunications Security organization. This role defines architectural standards, ensures cohesive integration across multi-vendor technologies, and aligns all solutions with enterprise security objectives and operational resilience needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and guide the security architecture for endpoints and connected devices across enterprise, mobile, and Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystems.
  • Coordinate the integration of endpoint detection and response tools, mobile device management platforms, mobile threat defense solutions, and identity systems to achieve unified threat visibility and reinforce zero-trust principles.
  • Design, implement, and maintain device compliance frameworks in accordance with National Cybersecurity Authority regulations, Cybersecurity Standards, and ISO 27001 requirements.
  • Evaluate emerging endpoint protection technologies, lead vendor assessments, and establish encryption guidelines, secure access controls, and baseline configuration standards.
  • Advance Internet of Things (IoT) protection practices by managing vulnerability remediation, patch governance, and ongoing improvements to overall device security posture.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in engineering is essential, supported by several years of practical experience in developing and managing security architectures for endpoints, connected devices, or Internet of Things (IoT) environments. Candidates should demonstrate a strong track record of delivering enterprise-level device security programs and leading complex system integration efforts.
