Job Description Summary

The Design Engineer is responsible for coordinating the development of detailed engineering design packages that meet all engineering, safety and quality codes and standards .- which includes but is not limited to supporting with the development of schematic drawings using CAD software; supporting the engineering technical support for other departments to resolve technical matters; Participating in basic design reviews; providing basic feedback for design improvements and assisting with comprehensive engineering analyses and space programming .- in order to support all JHAH's Design Engineering initiatives.

  • Stay uptodate with the latest engineering technologies building codes and industry best practices to continuously improve the design process
  • Provide specialized knowledge and expertise in the design project management and execution
  • Identify and recommend innovative solutions and technologies to improve practices and procedures

Operational Roles & Responsibilities
  • Developing detailed engineering design package that meets all engineering safety and quality codes and standards Including scope of work calculations drawings and bill of materials
  • Develop schematic drawings using 2DCAD software preferable knowledge in 3D BIM rendering
  • Conduct comprehensive engineering analyses and space programming to evaluate current design status and possible outcomes
  • Utilize technical expertise and problemsolving skills to resolve engineering issues related to deigns construction of system operations
  • Support and Participate in design reviews for outsourced projects and provide feedback for design improvements
  • Provide space utilization analysis and develop plans for proper interdepartmental relocations
  • Evaluate equipment materials and finishes to be installed within the facility to ensure functionality and quality standards
Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Professional Certifications Required

Preferred Saudi Council of Engineers certificate

Years of Experience

Minimum 4 years in engineering design

Languages

English:Advanced ; Arabic:Advanced
