Job Purpose:

The Accountant is responsible for managing the financial accounting and reporting functions of the organization, ensuring compliance with local laws, company policies, and best accounting practices. This role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, monthly financial closings, VAT compliance, and liaison with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare, calculate, and file VAT returns in accordance with ZATCA requirements.

· Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely posting of all transactions.

· Handle and control petty cash, ensuring all expenditures are properly documented and reconciled.

· Process all bank payments and transfers accurately and on time.

· Verify and approve Purchase Orders (POs) and Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) based on supplier tax invoices, resolving discrepancies promptly.

· Perform daily cash collection and reconciliation as per the accounting system and investigate any variances.

· Prepare monthly supplier ageing reports and coordinate with suppliers for outstanding balances.

· Calculate and record monthly commissions, accruals, and prepayments accurately and on time.

· Conduct monthly closing activities and ensure all ledger accounts are reconciled.

· Reconcile daily POS (Point of Sale) transactions and investigate any discrepancies.

· Review and process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

· Prepare and submit monthly management reports and financial analyses.

· Liaise with the Clinic and IT Department to ensure all invoices are recorded daily and at the correct amounts.

· Ensure all bank transfers and receipts are recorded promptly in the accounting system.

· Support internal and external audits by preparing and providing the required documentation.

· Maintain proper accounting records and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· 1-3 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in a medical or service industry.

· Strong understanding of accounting principles, VAT regulations, and payroll processing in KSA.

· Fluent in English and Arabic.

· Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
