Overview: Dokainish & Company is seeking an experienced Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Specialist to oversee commissioning activities across complex facilities, including MEP systems, fire and life safety systems, ICT networks, industrial kitchens, HVAC systems, and airport operational systems. This role will lead FAT/SAT processes, coordinate commissioning plans, and ensure integrated systems testing is completed in accordance with project requirements and industry standards. This is a full-time position, and the selected candidate must be based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities for MEP, fire protection, ICT, ELV, and specialized systems.Oversee and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for major equipment and systems.Develop, review, and implement commissioning plans, procedures, checklists, and integrated systems testing protocols.Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, OEM vendors, contractors, and consultants during commissioning works.Review shop drawings, method statements, O&M manuals, testing protocols, and as-built documentation for compliance.Support the resolution of technical issues during commissioning and verify corrective actions.Conduct performance testing and verify system readiness for handover.Prepare commissioning reports, punch lists, test results, and closeout documentation.Oversee commissioning activities for specialized environments such as industrial kitchens, refrigeration systems, and airport facilities (preferred).Requirements: Candidate Profile Detail-oriented commissioning professional with strong technical and analytical skills.Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-system environments with numerous stakeholders.Strong communicator, capable of documenting commissioning progress clearly and accurately.Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on mindset and strong coordination abilities.Able to challenge assumptions constructively while ensuring systems meet operational and performance standardsRequired Experience Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.2+ years of Testing & Commissioning experience in complex buildings, industrial facilities, or airport environments.Strong experience in T&C of MEP, fire protection, ICT, ELV, and special systems.Proven background in FAT/SAT workflows, integrated systems testing, and commissioning management.Experience with kitchens, HVAC systems, industrial refrigeration, or airport systems is preferred.Must have full professional proficiency in the English language.Technical Skills Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, ASHRAE/NEBB/BCxA guidelines, and industry best practices.Ability to interpret system schematics, MEP layouts, control diagrams, and interface schedules.Proficiency in MS Office and commissioning management platforms/tools.Experience coordinating with contractors, OEMs, and third-party testing teams.Education & Certifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Certification in commissioning such as CxA, BCxP, or equivalent is an advantageLocation & Mobility KSA-basedRegional travel flexibility requiredNote: This role description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
