Role SummaryThe HSE Officer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards across the project site. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, project-specific HSE plans, and international best practices. The officer will work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to promote a strong safety culture, prevent incidents, and support safe execution of all construction activities within a high-rise, mega-project environment.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans.Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards.Identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe practices, and ensure corrective actions are taken.Review and verify contractor HSE documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and emergency plans.Lead toolbox talks, safety training sessions, and awareness programs.Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and follow up on corrective and preventive measures.Maintain accurate HSE records, logs, and documentation.Ensure compliance with KSA regulations, project guidelines, and international HSE standards.Promote a proactive safety culture across all project stakeholders.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's degree, Diploma, or Engineering qualification in Health & Safety or a related field.Relevant professional membership or certification is preferred.NEBOSH certification is mandatory.Minimum 10-12 years of experience in mega projects and high-rise tower developments.KSA experience is mandatory.Strong understanding of HSE regulations, construction safety practices, and risk management.Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
