Geo Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical investigations. This role will involve both fieldwork and office-based tasks.

1. Conduct geotechnical investigations and site evaluations, including soil sampling, drilling, and in-situ testing.
2. Analyze soil and rock samples to determine their characteristics and suitability for various construction projects.
3. Design and recommend foundation systems, retaining walls, and other geotechnical structures.
4. Collaborate with civil engineers, structural engineers, and architects on project design and construction.
5. Provide geotechnical input for construction specifications and procedures.
6. Monitor construction sites to ensure adherence to geotechnical specifications and safety standards.
7. Prepare geotechnical reports, drawings, and specifications for construction projects.
8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in geotechnical engineering and recommend improvements in practices and procedures.
9. Provide technical support for geotechnical issues during project planning and execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
• years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related roles.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical design.
• Proficiency in geotechnical software tools such as specific software like PLAXIS, GeoStudio, etc..
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in various outdoor conditions and terrains.
