Job Description:
Job Title: Machining Shop Skilled Operator HTL ((Horizontal Turning Lathe))
Job Location: Saudi Arabia
Experience: minimum 7 years
Qualification:High school diploma or higher
Salary Range: Total Package of 3500 Sar to 5000 Sar
Notice Period: Within 30 days
Job Overview:
Perform high grade machining operating according to the manufacturing documents(drawing, work instructions, specification and CNC Program). A skilled worker is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machine tools to manufacture products from casting & forging materials. This role involves interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, ensuring the accuracy of machine operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC machines to perform tasks various machining tasks.
- Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading drawing and related manufacturing drawings etc.
- Prepare and load workpiece and setup onto the machine tools(Horizontal Lathe).
- Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
- Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.
- Supervise the machine tools while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
- Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
Job Requirements
Ÿ CNC machine tools operator for Horizontal lathe
Ÿ Minimum of 7 years’ experience in operation of CNC machine tools.
Ÿ Operating with one of the CNC controllers (FANUC, SIEMENS and etc.)
Ÿ Operating with 2 axis, 3 axis turning lathe.
Ÿ Operating experience of heavy-duty Turning lathe.
Ÿ Experience with turning lathes that require steady rest equipment use is preferred.
Ÿ Experienced in thread machining according to various types of screw specifications.
Ÿ Understand / review machining manufacturing drawings & technical specifications.
Ÿ General machine tools and machining technical understanding, knowledge of tooling and measuring instruments.
Ÿ Interpret CNC programs as required on the job. Creating & editing manual programs. (Manual Data Input G&M codes)
Ÿ Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measuring instruments.
Ÿ Use measuring tools and gauges to ensure quality of products that required general and precision tolerances.
Ÿ Capable of working own initiative.
Ÿ Perform self-prevention and regular consumable change work on CNC machine tools.
Ÿ Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machine tools.
Ÿ Previous experience with similar oil & gas field parts if preferred, but not essential.
