The Order Taker plays a vital role in our Food & Beverage department, acting as the first point of contact for guests and ensuring their dining experience is exceptional. This position is important as it directly impacts customer satisfaction and retention, contributing to the overall success of our establishment. Success in this role is reflected in the ability to accurately take and process orders, address customer inquiries with enthusiasm, and create a welcoming atmosphere. With a focus on teamwork and collaboration, the Order Taker will thrive in a dynamic environment where growth opportunities abound, including potential advancement into supervisory roles or specialized training in food and beverage management.
Greet and engage customers in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive dining experienceAccurately take and process food and beverage orders using the point-of-sale systemCollaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of ordersIdentify opportunities for menu improvements based on customer feedback and preferencesTrain and mentor new team members on best practices in customer service and order processingHigh school diploma or equivalent1-3 years of experience in a food service or hospitality environmentProficient in point-of-sale systems and order processing technologyStrong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of food and beverage pairings and menu itemsPrevious experience in a fast-paced restaurant settingLeadership experience or training in customer serviceAdditional certifications in food safety or hospitality management
