Job Description: General Manager O&M
Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position offers a competitive salary package and an opportunity to lead a vital segment of our business, ensuring the efficient operational capabilities of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all operational and maintenance activities to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the O&M department in alignment with the organization’s goals.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance with regulations.
- Manage the budget for the O&M department, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to O&M, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers and staff within the O&M division.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all operational processes.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of operational activities to enhance performance efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to inform best practices and maintain competitive advantage.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Strong understanding of operational and maintenance practices within the industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large O&M teams and projects.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse workforce.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on results-driven outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Desired Experience
- A minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 20 years of relevant experience in operations and maintenance management.
- Demonstrable experience in strategic planning and execution in a senior management role.
- Experience in budget management and financial accountability.
- Familiarity with the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the operational domain.
- Experience with safety and quality assurance practices within the O&M sector.
