Job Description
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Architect to join our team In this role you will get to perform a wide variety of difficult architectural assignments by applying architectural design standards, practices, and techniques. What You'll Be Doing:
• Prepare functional designs, details, provide design solutions
• Lead a small team of younger Architects
• Be responsible for submissions
• Review the internally produced drawings for design quality, accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with other disciplines
• Review other disciplines' work
• Have a hands-on role
• Prepare reports, specifications, presentations What Required Skills You'll Bring:
• Bachelors degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 16 years of experience in design Architect role.
• Proficiency in Revit and CAD
• Ability to contribute to a positive team environment through professionalism, cooperation, and a constructive attitude.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Calm, dependable, respectful, professional, collaborative. What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
• Positive, approachable, and composed communication style, including the ability to collaborate effectively under pressure.
• Ability to represent the firm professionally with clients, consultants, contractors, and community stakeholders.
• Strong mentoring, coaching, and team-development skills.
• Experience developing office standards, workflows, templates, or best practices.
• Ability to identify potential project issues early and recommend practical solutions.
