Job Description
Job Title: Senior SAP Funds Management (FM) Consultant / SAP FM Expert

Location:
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Work Mode: Onsite preferred | Partly Remote / Fully Remote considered for strong MENA-based candidates Duration: 4–5 Months Start Date: Immediate Workload: 160 hours/month | 40 hours/week Working Days: Sunday–Thursday

Experience:
6+ Years Project: Public Sector / Government Employment Type: Contract Valid Saudi Iqama / residence permit required Role Overview We are seeking a Senior / Expert SAP Funds Management (FM) Consultant with 6+ years of strong, hands-on SAP FM experience to support a major public-sector project in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should be a deep SAP FM specialist, rather than a general SAP FI/CO consultant, with strong techno-functional expertise and proven experience in government/public-sector budgeting and Funds Management.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure, implement, and support SAP Funds Management (FM) processes.
- Manage and maintain Funds Centers, Commitment Items, and Funds.
- Design and support Budget Structures and Availability Control (AVC).
- Handle Budget Control, Budget Transfer, Budget Return, and Budget Supplement processes.
- Support integration between SAP FM and Project System (PS).
- Support integration between SAP FM and Materials Management (MM).
- Develop and support Public Sector / Government reporting requirements.
- Understand and implement Ministry / Government budgeting requirements.
- Support Payroll integration with SAP Funds Management.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FM solutions.
- Provide techno-functional support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and project teams to ensure successful delivery. Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of relevant SAP Funds Management (FM) experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FM configuration and implementation/support.
- Excellent knowledge of:
- Funds Centers
- Commitment Items
- Funds
- Budget Structure
- Availability Control (AVC)
- Budget Control
- Budget Transfer
- Budget Return
- Budget Supplement
- Strong experience with FM-PS Integration.
- Strong experience with FM-MM Integration.
- Experience with Public Sector / Government SAP FM.
- Understanding of Ministry / Government budgeting processes.
- Knowledge of Payroll Integration.
- Strong techno-functional SAP FM capabilities.
- Excellent English communication and stakeholder-management skills. Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates who can join immediately.
- Riyadh / Saudi Arabia-based candidates preferred.
- Valid Saudi Iqama / residence permit required for onsite engagement.
- MENA-based consultants may be considered for remote/partly remote engagement.
- Strong experience working on Government / Public Sector SAP FM projects. Key Requirement This role requires a dedicated SAP Funds Management specialist.
