About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic team at DTEX. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats and incidents to protect our clients’ digital infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection techniques, and incident response strategies. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technologies and contribute to the safety and resilience of various organizations’ digital ecosystems. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security roles.
• Strong knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
• Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Understanding of common cyber threats, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Responsibilities
• Continuously monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify potential threats or vulnerabilities.
• Analyze security incidents to determine their scope, impact, and root cause.
• Implement and maintain security tools and systems to enhance overall security posture.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify weaknesses.
• Develop and update security policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all projects and initiatives.
• Provide training and awareness programs to educate staff on cybersecurity best practices.
• Maintain detailed documentation of security incidents, investigations, and resolutions.
