- Establish and manage the project’s MEP coordination procedures, workflows, responsibilities and deliverable schedule.
- Develop and maintain an interface matrix identifying dependencies among all disciplines, contractors and utility providers.
- Coordinate pressurized irrigation mains, treated-sewage-effluent networks, potable-water systems, stormwater drainage, sewerage, power, telecommunications and low-current services.
- Identify and resolve clashes between underground utilities, lake structures, cart paths, roads, foundations, landscape features and building services.
- Verify horizontal and vertical clearances, utility crossings, invert levels, access requirements and maintenance zones.
- Review the constructability and sequencing of congested utility corridors and critical service crossings.
- Lead reviews of Combined Services Drawings and Structural, Electrical and Mechanical drawings for the clubhouse and auxiliary buildings.
- Confirm that coordinated drawings incorporate the requirements of architectural, structural, fire and life-safety, landscape and specialist systems.
- Review plant-room layouts, service shafts, ceiling zones, risers, corridors and equipment-access routes.
- Verify that adequate space is maintained for equipment installation, operation, removal and future maintenance.
- Chair multidisciplinary and multi-trade spatial coordination workshops.
- Maintain clash registers, interface logs, decision records and action trackers.
- Assign coordination actions to responsible parties and monitor their closure within agreed timeframes.
- Review BIM clash-detection reports and confirm that identified conflicts are resolved before construction.
- Use Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD and other approved platforms to review federated models and coordinated drawings.
- Verify that revised coordination solutions are reflected consistently across models, drawings, schedules and technical submissions.
- Coordinate interfaces between irrigation pump stations, electrical panels, control systems, standby power and associated mechanical equipment.
- Coordinate lake-filling, circulation and aeration systems with electrical power, controls, drainage and landscape requirements.
- Coordinate the Building Management System with HVAC systems, central plant, electrical monitoring, fire alarm and other integrated building systems.
- Review interfaces between utility-agency connections and internal project networks.
- Coordinate technical requirements with utility agencies and monitor the closure of connection-related actions.
- Review contractors’ shop drawings, coordination drawings, builders’ work drawings, method statements and technical queries.
- Verify that sleeves, openings, embedded items, plinths, supports, trenches and service penetrations are coordinated before construction.
- Coordinate with structural and civil teams to prevent unauthorized cutting, coring or modification of completed works.
- Conduct regular site inspections to confirm that installations comply with approved coordinated drawings.
- Identify field deviations and direct contractors to update drawings, models and installation proposals accordingly.
- Resolve site conflicts promptly to minimize abortive work, delays, variations and disruption to completed finishes.
- Monitor MEP and utility coordination activities against the approved construction and commissioning programs.
- Support the planning and sequencing of testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Develop or review integrated testing and commissioning matrices covering mechanical, electrical, controls and life-safety systems.
- Oversee Integrated Systems Testing across all relevant disciplines during project closeout.
- Coordinate testing interfaces among fire alarm, smoke control, emergency power, elevators, access control, BMS and other integrated systems.
- Verify that testing scripts, prerequisites, responsibilities, acceptance criteria and witnessing requirements are clearly established.
- Track commissioning observations, failed tests, corrective actions and retesting through final acceptance.
- Coordinate training, demonstrations and technical handover to the Client or facility-management team.
- Verify contractor redline markups against actual site installations.
- Ensure that final as-built drawings and BIM models accurately reflect on-site conditions.
- Review MEP sections of operation and maintenance manuals, asset registers, warranties and closeout dossiers.
- Prepare periodic coordination reports covering clashes, design decisions, outstanding interfaces, risks and action status.
- Advise the Project Manager on critical coordination issues, potential delays and required management interventions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi codes, Civil Defense requirements, utility regulations, Client procedures, quality standards and occupational health and safety requirements. Minimum
