Since its establishment, the company has successfully completed numerous projects ranging from airports, ports, marinas, roads, and bridges to high-speed railways, high-capacity power plants, and tourism facilities.


We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our team for our road project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in electrical design engineering for infrastructure, highway, transportation, or major urban development projects.
  • Proven experience in road lighting systems, power distribution networks, substations, ITS infrastructure, utilities, and outdoor electrical installations.
  • Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, SBC, and other applicable international electrical design standards.
  • Experience in electrical load calculations, cable routing, earthing and lightning protection systems, and energy-efficient design solutions.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or equivalent design tools.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary design coordination and BIM environments.
  • Strong technical reporting, design review, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Previous Middle East and Saudi Arabia project experience is highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, review, and coordination of electrical systems for large-scale highway and infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare electrical design calculations, technical specifications, BOQs, load schedules, single-line diagrams, and construction drawings.
  • Design and coordinate power distribution systems, substations, MV/LV networks, transformer installations, and backup power solutions.
  • Develop electrical designs for road lighting systems, tunnel lighting, traffic management systems, ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), and utility infrastructure.
  • Coordinate interface requirements with civil, structural, mechanical, and road design disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Review and approve technical submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, and vendor documentation.
  • Perform power system studies, including load flow, voltage drop, short-circuit, and cable sizing calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards, project specifications, local authority requirements, and utility company regulations.
  • Participate in design reviews, value engineering workshops, and constructability assessments.
  • Provide engineering support during construction, testing, commissioning, energization, and project handover stages.
  • Coordinate BIM models and multidisciplinary clash detection processes.
