This job role is toensure that all outdoor blasting/painting work at P.E and Dockstage and related activities are executed safely effectively andefficiently in accordance with applicable technical specificationscompany policies procedures and work instructions. It is alsorequired to perform blasting/painting production management inaccordance with documented plans and requirement for projects andcontinually improve blasting/paintingproductivity.

KeyResponsibilities

1.Blasting/Painting Productionmanagement

Monitoring productivityof all outdoor blasting and painting activities at P.E and Dockstage in shipbuilding and rig construction including subcontractorsproduction and ensuring timely completion of works fulfillingquality and safety. Collaborating with other departments/zones todevelop and implement new processes systems and procedures thatcontinually increase efficiency andproductivity.

2. Planning forBlasting/Painting

Developing aclear production execution strategy and plan for outdoorblasting/painting load analysis block transportation/arrangementand manpower. Planning and monitoring materials forblasting/painting and consumables for the project inadvance.

3. HSEManagement

Pursuing zero harm toemployees by ensuring that all blasting and painting activities areexecuted safely in compliance with HSE standards/procedures andTDS/MSDS of paint material.

4.Resource Management

Taking primaryresponsibility for allocating and managing manpower and resourcesfor outdoor blasting and painting work at P.E and Dock stage inaccordance with the project schedule and budget. Monitoring actualasset costs/manhours against budgeted costs/manhours and takecorrective action for overruns. Coordinating with other productiondepartments/zones and the Asset Management group to avoid asset andresource duplication.

5. SpacePlanning

Planning and managing theuse of yard space based on current project requirements andpotential project awards.

6.Training forBlasting/Painting

Preparing workprocedures and instructions for all blasting and paintingactivities required for shipbuilding and rig projects. Preparingpainting training materials for workers and production managers andconducting appropriate trainingregularly.

7. HRManagement

Assisting the HumanResource team with workforcerelated issues such as site supportrecruitment transportation disciplinary procedures labor relationssite welfare facilities and offsite accommodation. Contribute tothe development of allemployees.

8. RelationshipManagement

Maintain closerelationships with Planning Project Management Asset Management andHR groups as well as field/OSV Production groups which are crucialto the Production Management groupssuccess.

Qualifications

• BachelorsDegree in shipbuilding or chemical engineering orequivalent.
• Valid professional qualification :NACE CIP Level II or equivalent.
• 39 years ofrelevant experience inshipbuilding.
